The i Club Suggested Chapter Mission Statement

This Chapter of The i Club at school is a volunteer student organization dedicated to raising awareness on the issues of sexual violence, sexual harassment, healthy relationships, and other social flaws issues critical to our peers. To the best of our abilities, we will educate our peers on these often overlooked issues of date rape in the hopes that they might not occur in our community. To accomplish this, our i Club Chapter will strive to hold at least two educational events per academic year. We will also strive to raise monies for The i Club’s national mission and projects. We understand that The i Club chapters are vital to the success of The i Club’s national efforts and that our fund-raising efforts shall be used for The i Club’s stated projects.

We seek to promote respect for all of our community members, especially respect between genders. We look forward to a day free of partner violence, sexual assault, drunk driving, hate crimes, and other negative interactions between people. We anticipate and seek to bring about a day free of violence.
